There wasn't much snowman activity this year - I started an additional job in November and losing money last year didn't have me in such a hurry to do any new work. I had a sort-of plan for selling some paintings but a late summer slump in employment put the kibosh on spending money on a special piece of equipment.
However, I'm not done with these fellows and l'll be back next year.
The above sketch was an idea for an illustration assignment - an art director was looking at my snowmen and wanted to hire me to do an illustration for an article in her magazine.
The final idea is totally different and doesn't even include a snowman but it was snowmen that got me the job.
So as 2014 fades to the past the snowmen and I wish all a happy and prosperous new year.
